 I always had something with helicopters.
My passion started when doing my military service at the
Search and Rescue base of Koksijde (Belgium).
My first helicopter photoshoot was for
the now defunct Holyman Sally fast ferry service between
Oostende and Ramsgate. It was a thrilling experience to
follow the 40 knot Seacat from the Jet Ranger helicopter
(without door).
Since then I have been working for Port
Authorities in Belgium and Sweden, and for Shipping
companies as far as Japan.
My favourite helicopter is the Dauphin,
but because of the price I rather have to go for a Jet
Ranger or Robinson R44.
